Two women, mother and daughter, died in Poland after the storm destroyed the peak of a building at the Skiing Center in Bukowina, near the Slovakia border. Two others were injured in the incident.
In Sweden a man sank into the water after the boat that was sailing on Lake Phagen was flooded. Another person in the same boat has disappeared and nothing is known of his destiny.
Two men -- one in Slovenia and the other in England -- died after their cars were hit by wind-died wood, writes “Associated Press”.
The storm has resulted in the worst consequences in Great Britain, where many rivers have gone out of bed and flooded roads.
Air companies have canceled many flights. Railway and water transport operators have done the same.
