Foreign media say they have created a device that is reportedly being used for disinfecting public spaces. According to the AFP, it's about the RHThor-1H robot, described by state media as a “arm of extraordinary power” against the Coronavirus. The demonstration of how the robot acts has been staged in a park in Hangzhou in eastern China, a city partially blocked by Codov - 19.
Officials in Beijing have declared the fight against the dangerous virus a national priority. The Chinese government has spent billions of dollars on subsidies and loans to promote artificial intelligence progress in the country. “The fight against the epidemic cannot be achieved without the support of science and technology”, President Xi Jinping earlier declared.
