Fears in Lyons came shortly after an Italian passenger plane were held in Mauritius because of fear of the virus, dozens of passengers from Lombardia and Venito, regions with the worst influence of the Coronavirus, were told to return home or be confined to quarantine.
40 of the 224 people on board eventually chose to return home to northern Italy, where 50,000 people were placed in their homes, schools were closed and activities outside the residences were suspended. So far, six victims from Coronavirus have been confirmed in Italy.
