The Kosovo government yesterday has proposed to form a working group for organising the holiday of the 12th anniversary of Kosovo's independence.
Today, when there are still 3 days left on February 17th, there is no information from the Kosovo government about the organisation performance or whether this organisation has begun.
In past years, planning on marking Independence Day was usually made much earlier, but it seems that the Kurti government does not have the priorities to celebrate this day.
Yesterday at the government's meeting, Kurti has indicated that on Monday the 12th anniversary of independence should be marked and has proposed that the processing group be led by Hakki Abazi, his deputy.
On Monday, we have to mark the 12th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kosovo, with this opportunity it is good to have a working group that will finalise already common and traditional preparations in our country, and, in this case, I propose that we have a working group that I believe it should be led by Deputy Prime Minister Hakki Abazi and, under this working group if you don't have any remarks or suggestions on the other side to be Minister of Culture and Sports Vlora Dumoi, and to be Minister of Defence Anton and Quni is Minister of Management and Rezikız, Emilehhhh, Kurti, Kurti, Kurti, Kurti, Kurti, Kurti, Kurti, he said.
Today, however, news has been answered by the Ministry of Finance and Transfers on whether the means of marking the day have been divided.
In response to the ministry led by Bisnik Bislimi of Vetevendosje for news.net, they have said they have rejected the government's request for the division of budgetary means.
“In the Ministry of Finance and Transfers, we have no request for separation of tools from relevant institutions for organising the 12th anniversary of independence. At the moment the request comes to the Ministry of Finance and Transfers will be analysed and the division of budgetary means in line with the law recommended.”, the MFT's response said.
Last year, the Kosovo government had earmarked 500 thousand euros from the reserve fund for marking Independence Day, while 3 days before February 17th, the agenda was published.
