PDK MP Blerta Deliu-Codra has reacted after the move of former Kosovo Parliament Speaker Vjosa Osmani, who removed the country's President Hashim Thaci's photo from the office, replacing it with that of former President Ibrahim Rugova, writes Periscopi.
Deliu-Codra has called the legal violation of Osman's move, saying it was shown selective in implementing Kosovo's laws.
Blerta Deliu's full reaction:
President Ibrahim Rugova's symbolic logo with thedaran flag, for which there is no decision, no record and no legal basis supporting it, for the sake of Hashim Thaci's respect and majesty, still figures in his office.
The official photograph of the president, which is obliged to place all institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in their environments based on the Law for State Protocol, was now removed from the new top parliament, Vjosa Osmani, who has committed legal violations since his first day of work. Its mandate is the leadership of the body that issues and adopts all laws, but as it testified, it itself is selective in implementing Kosovo legislation. This is a new standard for Kosovo institutions and a completely childish game that highlights mostly the unripe political and personal whims of Vjosa Osman.
