AAK MP warns protests against tax removal

AAK deputy chairman, who is also an MP in the Kosovo Assembly, Albena Resiti has commented on recent developments in the country.

Reschiaj, at RTV Dukaagjini, has said reciprocity instead of taxing would be a Kosovo mistake, as there is no mutual recognition among the countries.

She says the tax has damaged many of Serbia's strategies, so Kosovo should be careful in this direction.

AAK deputy chairman says the last thing she would like to see would be street protests against leaving the tax.

Reshimaj says that fear exists for the tax to divide society into groupings.

Speaking of the Dukagjini Highway, the MP says the Haradinaj government only after proceeding with other highways decided on the construction of the Dukagjin Highway.
