Ankara was convicted after buying Russian missiles.
In a Twitter post filled with unacceptable language, Javad Zarif said the US displayed “dependence on sanctions and dissatisfaction with international law” after targeting Turkey, and showed support for the country.
This is a rare gesture of solidarity between the two neighbours that rarely go well with their jobs. Iran and Turkey are on the sides of the sects' Islamic divisions and have crashed in the past on a range of different issues, the most visible also in Syria, where they support the opposing parties in civil war, writes RT, Periscopi.
The US announced sanctions on Turkey on Monday, citing Ankara's “significant increased transfers with Russian defence and intelligence sectors”.
Even Iran has lived long under US heavy sanctions.
Meanwhile, Kosovo nearly experienced any major injustice during the Kurti Government's confrontations with the American administration. /Periscope
