Osman Atalay is one of the main representatives of the IHH organisation in Turkey.
IHH is the Turkish humanitarian organisation founded in 1992 and currently operates in 135 different states of the world. International opinion has been reported most closely with this organisation in 2010.
On May 31, 2010, IHH launched a fleet of six ships, including the famous ship “Mavi Marmara”, in the direction of Gaza, Palestine, which was then under Israeli blockade. Israeli Special Forces landed at “Mavi Marmara” until it stood 130 km off the Israeli coast, leaving 10 IHovina activists dead.
