“The EU will continue to co-operate with co-operaters in Kosovo in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue. The road to Kosovo and Serbia towards the EU goes through dialogue. We still expect Kosovo to respect and implement all past agreements”, this EU spokesman has said.
Kosovo and Serbia have resumed dialogue in July this year after 20 months of interruption as a result of Ramush Haradinaj's government-set tax
Hoti and Vuciq have had the last meeting in September of this year, as chief negotiators at the expert level have met on December 10th.
EU mediator Miroslav Lajcak has warned that dialogue at the expert level will continue in 2021 without specifying the month.
New elections expected to be held in Kosovo will also dictate the dynamics of dialogue if Vetevendosje manages to come first in the electoral process and eventually form Kosovo's new government.
