Kadri Wessel's lawyer, Ben Emmerson, says the prosecution at The Hague is playing game over keeping the former KLA leaders in custody.
Here's his statement:
“has had interference in the flow of justice and, according to them, should be kept in custody, this is a meaningless proposal. They didn't give us the information that based this claim, then I guess we could make a statement if we didn't have the information.
So this is kind of a game that the prosecution is playing in the interest of achieving a procedure that Mr. Smith is looking for who is not in session now.
Then we will submit a skeleton application and the prosecution must realistically respond to the reason why four people should be held in prison, despite the presumption of being innocent, Emmerson said. /PERISCOP/
