Forty buses of Urban Traffic in circulation were attacked Saturday evening in the capital. Citizens who had come out to celebrate “Halloween” threw eggs and stones in the direction of buses. As a result of citizen shooting, Urban traffic has also been caused material damage. The chief chief of this company, Lulzim Rexhepaj, has told Express that the value of the damage caused amounts to over 3,000 euros.

“During the manifestation of the so-called Halloween, on October 31st all authorities who have been on the course of 40. In addition to being hunted with eggs, two windows of two buses have been damaged on two occasions. For us this presents vandal behavior by untrained children, and unconscious towards public property. The assessment commission has assessed bus injuries and found that the worth 3 thousand and 500 euros”, Rexhepaj has declared.

He said these damages would be covered by company revenues.

Meanwhile, Rexhepaj added that during the time the buses were attacked, there were travelers, but they were not hurt.

The “Gurs have not been harmed inside, because the danger has been to hurt passengers, but it hasn't happened. These hooligans must be educated. I prefer that parents educate, advise, and explain to their children that public property in any manifestation should not be harmed. This is happening, in the case of the manifesto called Halloween, there is no mythology and much less logical explanation for the damage of buses. When these buses are in service to all citizens”, Rexhepaj has declared.

Meanwhile, Pristina municipality chairman Shpend Ahmetui, prior to Halloween's manifestation, has asked citizens not to attack buses.

Ahmeti's request came as there have been such attacks on Urban Traffic buses, whose windows have been broken in the past years.
