Hungary has decided to extend its state of emergency until February 8th, which has been introduced to fight the spread of the second wave of the coronary pandemic, according to a decree adopted late Tuesday.
The restrictions, which include a curfew between 8:00 and 05 a.m., a ban on meetings and online teaching for students and students, would last until December 11th, but now they will continue for the next two months.
The number of people infected with coronarys has increased significantly since September, but only in early November did Prime Minister Victor Orban decide to tighten the measures.
More than 4,200 new cases and 99 deaths were recorded by Hungary on Wednesday, a slight decline from last week when there were record numbers.
The country of 9.8 million people was largely spared in the first wave of the coronary pandemic in the spring.
At the moment, there are almost 7,500 patients in Hungarian hospitals, 581 of whom are in breathing aids.
A total of 3,380 people have died in Hungary since the beginning of the epidemic, KosovoPress broadcasts.
