Have you read about Jerusalem's syndrome?
Jerusalem's syndrome is a group of mental phenomena that include the presence of religious subjective ideas, fraud, or other experiences similar to psychosis. It is not special for a particular religion or trust, but it has touched Jews, Christians, and Muslims of different backgrounds.
There are hundreds of times when some people think they are Jesus, imam Mehdiu, or Virgin Mary.
Some places such as Jerusalem, Mecca, Qerbaela, and so on, with the mosaic of sacred spaces and their millenniums, may become confusing to some believing visitors, an abnormal cultural obsession that can then cause some psychosis or syndrome. The disorder can also be manifested by the intensive religious character of the extreme after reading a book or visiting a temple, which then leads to spontaneous faintness, confusion, and hallucinations.
This syndrome could also be a result of a long - standing psychotic predisposition.
The affected person believes that he is an important historical figure or may be influenced by important religious ideas or concepts (such as the cause of the coming imam Mehdiu or the second coming of Christ).
Tip: If you speak to God, that's okay and it's called prayer; whether God “speaks to you, then check out a psychiatrist for the sake of your life!
Peace!
