During the day, EULEX members have conducted a raid on Jakup Krasniqi's home.

Kosovo's Specialised Chambers, headquartered at The Hague, have announced on Wednesday that the Specialised Prosecutor's Office is conducting operations in Pristina.

Jakup Krasniqi, who from The Hague's Specialised Prosecutor's Office was interviewed in July last year, has been a spokesman, as well as a member of the General Staff of the former Kosovo Liberation Army.

Earlier in the day, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo has indicated that it is following EULEX's actions regarding former Parliament Speaker Jakup Krasniqi.

The presumption of innocence should be respected in any case unless there is another verdict of the competent court.
