Xhemaj has said that this September, ugly and complete physical disproportionate, does not inspire or brave anyone. In fact, according to him, this September shames all Albanians, especially those who come from this city.
In this case, he has called on the municipal assembly to improve this distortion of the large figure of Gjergj Kastriot and the independent Albanian history.

Skenderbeu did not deserve this insult from Prizren municipality on November 28th
Kastriot “Skenderbeu” is one of the first Albanian heroes, leaders, who for 500 years kept alive the idea of fighting for freedom, joining for victory, ideal for state.
Of course, he was also one of the inspirers of the most successful military formation among Albanians, the Kosovo Liberation Army.
Meanwhile, even in the history books but also in the history stories and legends with which we grew up over his figure, Skenderbeu is described as a tall man who, in his appearance alone, inspired and braved his warriors.
But how does the Prizren municipality, led by Mytaher Haskuka, have in mind and know another Skenderbe? The September of Skenderbeu, who Prizren's municipality inaugurated today, is the least insult to his image, and most of all, is a violation of each Albanian's history and idea of our hero.
It does not inspire or brave anyone. In fact, this September shames all Albanians, especially us coming from this city.
This September, without any artistic value and complete physical disproportionate, does not honor the Prusser. As if not enough, the municipality has chosen a place for the figure of George that does not exalt it, but it cunningly loses its value and position in our hearts and history.
So, I'm making a public request tonight for the convents of our historic city, so that as soon as they address this shame that went to Jedg Kastriot, and through him all our glorious Albanian history.
It's not too late. The mistake was made, but it would be more wrong to close our eyes to this shame. Hence, from the next session, this ugly distortion of the great George has to be corrected.
Skenderbeu did not merit this insult on November 28th, much less in Prizren.
