Analyst Salihu points out what Serbia did to Wessel's family in 1993 and Thaci's sentence as part of the “Adem Jashar”

Analyst Fitim Salihu has unveiled two articles from the archive to the public about two serious events that had occurred to Kadri Wessel, and later Hashim Thaci during the 1990s. The first one shows how in August 93 Serbian police had raided Fazli Wessel's family in search of 26 [...]
The first one shows how in August 93 Serbian police had raided Fazli Wessel's family in search of the 26-year-old incumbent, Kadri Wessel.
The police tore the national flag at his home, arrested Fazliu and his two other sons, but Kadri Veseline did not find him.
Later, it also extends the July 1997 article, when the Ademi Jashart” group was sentenced to 264 years in prison. Among those sentenced were two other special envoys, Hashim Thaci and Rexhep Selimi.
It names the indictment against them as “produced by Serbia”.

When I had more leisure time, I was turned into a relaxing hobby. At the same time, I found rare, then unpublished and extremely important articles for the contemporary history of Kosovo. Among other things, I had found these two rare articles.
The first, published in the August 1993 “Buykun”, brings the story of raids on families of illegal activists. Serbian police had also raided Fazli Wessel's family to seek his son, 26-year-old Kadri Wessel. The police tore his national home flag, arrested Fazliu and his two other sons, but Kadri Wessel did not find him.
The second article is four years later, of July 1997, also published at “Buyku” and reports on the judicial process under way by the Serbian court in Pristina. The famous group of Adam Jashar was sentenced in total to 264 years in prison. Among the convicts are found the names of Hashim Thaci, 29, and Rexhep Selimi, 26.
All three leading KLA figures yesterday were arrested by the Special Court. Out of what came out of the indictment against them, unfortunately, it is noted that the old charges fabricated by Serbia in 1993 and 1997 have only been copied and reduced by the Specialised Prosecutor. Unfortunately, Thaci, Wessel, Selimi and their allies, even after 30 years, must again testify that their war and the KLA have been fair and that Serbia's accusations are untrue.
