Kurti's party has indicated that Kurti has initially told Lajcak about the process of his party's internal elections and membership in the Progressive Alliance.
Kurt's internal elections had won them with convincing results without counterCandids.
“Takim was within Mr. Lajčak in Kosovo and his meetings with political and institutional leaders. Along it, Chairman Kurti and Special Representative Lajčák shared their positions and views on the process, goals and developments in Dialog. At the beginning of the word, Mr. Kurt thanked Mr. Leičac for his invitation to meet. He announced the prosperity of the domestic election process in Movement V EVIDENCE! which has already ended at about 10% of our points, the Alternative Governance and its five pillars, as well as membership in the Alliance of Progress recently. Chairman Kurti also spoke of four cases which are already and how long they are in the treatment of the Constitutional Court and for which there is not yet any verdict from this institution, despite whether they should be treated with priority take into account their importance and sensitivity”, the LVV communiqué said.
Meanwhile Lajcak gave more importance to what he committed, Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
“On the other side, Mr. Lajčac spoke of the importance and need to continue dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. He said the EU facilitated dialogue presents a serious process that has two basic goals: the full normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia and the approach of the two countries close to the EU. So dialogue between them as a process and final product agreement are closely linked to the European future of Kosovo and Serbia. In this direction, there could be no vacuum, but either progress or setbacks, Miroslav Lajčák” announced Vetevendosje.
And at the end of the meeting, Kurti took on dialogue, calling it very important. He has stressed the need for dialogue to be well prepared and guided by another Government.
“Finally, Chairman Kurti agreed that dialogue is very important. Being the process of such importance, he must be well prepared, with clear principles and intentions, with legitimate and creditable governments, frameworks agreed in advance by the parties involved, and the involvement and continued approval of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo”, is said in the LVV communiqué, which emphasises that Lajcak's Kurdish agreed to remain in contact with the welfare and advancement of the current co-operation.
