In a Facebook post, Daykovic said among other things that Esat Papa Toptan has handed over to his ancestors the keys to Shkodra, when this town was attacked by Montenegrins.
“Today I visited the ancient Serbian town of Shkodra in Serbia”, he said.
I'm connected to this city by a special family tradition because Esad Pasha handed the keys to the city to my grandfather during the Montenegrin liberation of Shkodra”. As the leader of Luka Sbutlo Dajković, I always feel good in this city, but I also sadly remember learning Serbian songs, such as “Zidanja Skadra na Bojani” in our schools”, he said.
We don't forget our history, even life gives. Let our people live wherever they are! ”, the Serbian-Montenegrin activist wrote.
Vladislav Daykovic has instantly awakened the feelings of Serb and Montenegrin extremists, receiving numerous comments and consents, claiming Shkodra is Serbian land, as their story claims. /NOA.al/
