During yesterday's day, under the motto <x0Bakka without Borders, in a borderless region”, at the Palace of Congress after the meeting held between the Kosovo government and Albania have signed 14 agreements by ministers of two states.

Finalisation of these 14 agreements also brings with it the issue of co-operation in functioning railway between the two countries, writes news.

But, too, Kosovo's port of Durres is mentioned, which has caused nervousness to politicians and media in Serbia.

The agreement between Kosovo and similar Albania has also been in the past years, but this year, agreements between the two countries have been realised in the spirit of the Kosovo agreement Serbia in Washington on 4 September and in the spirit of the Balkan mini-Schengen project, postponed by the European Union, but now also by the United States.

But what are economic-political consistencys, and what effect do such agreements produce between the two countries?

Regarding the economic effects that these agreements will have and whether the same will help Kosovo progress and factorisation in the Western Balkans region and beyond, economic expert Safet Gerjaliu has spoken of news.

He for news.net has indicated that yesterday's agreements by what has been reflected in the talks of the two prime ministers is that there is positiveness from the September 4th agreement reached in Washington.

Gerxhaliu said it is proving since the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia reached in Washington will serve the entire region for good, and not only the two countries, adding that Kosovo and Albania two states from a similar people should unite the economy.

It is true that dialogue and partnership with the countries of the region have no alternative, so there must be meetings and this tradition of meetings between the two governments of a divided people should continue. But the essence is that it is not lived by folk patriotism, not by media shows and marketing. It's a matter of problems. During yesterday it is important to mention that agreements were signed without talking about barriers. What's hope is that in Rama and Hoti's speeches a spirit that reflects positive from the September 4th agreement in Washington and I believe that at this meeting in the Albanian tradition is that someone who says something, has weight, and there's hope that these agreements will generate positive effects as this is a product derived from Washington's agreement when we say that other than Kosovo and Serbia will win Balkan countries, and I believe that Albania will also be in good standing. We must be careful in implementing and implementing agreements and not only in signing. It has to be serious because we are a divided people in two states and the economy must unite”, Gerjaliu told news.

Furthermore, questioned whether yesterday's agreements were in the spirit of mini-Schengen, Gerjaliu has confirmed that it stands as now the nationwide euphoria has waned and a new era of economic co-operation is under way.

“Day has been a greeting to Washington's agreement and there has been a Mini- Schengen and the self-refining motto “Basch, in a borderless region”, shows that nationwide euphoria has waned and a new era of economic co-operation between Kosovo and Albania is about to be eliminated, Grjaliu said.

Political affairs acquaintance Shkodran Ramadani has indicated that the two governments' meetings and agreements between them have already become tradition. He said it is true that the mini-Schengen project has directed the topics discussed yesterday.

According to him, there is also a meeting aimed at empowering Albanians in the Presevo Valley.

It has become a tradition that every year at this time of the year governments will be gathered and sign a host of agreements, even though in public opinion there is the belief that the agreements remain only on paper, they are actually implemented and there are many agreements that almost entirely have been implemented, example, that of the roaming, but yesterday's meeting is true that it has been under the shadow of the mini project- Schengen and what appears to have addressed the topics that have been discussed, and there is also agreement on supporting the Presevo Valley, the two foreign ministries' agreement, but there is also a meeting that serves to increase the actions of internal but regional co-operation.”, Ramadani told the news.net.

In the end, Ramadani said agreement and meetings like these contribute to the factorisation of Albanians both in the region, but even wider.

“I believe that it has been years since Albanians have achieved co-operation and that we have seen increased factorisation of Albanians in the region as well, but here is credit to Albania's Foreign Minister Gent Cakaj, who as no minister has contributed to the strengthening of Albanians in Montenegro and especially in the Valley, but has also contributed to Macedonia. There is consolidation, but the largest consolidation of Albanians has taken place from 1999 onward, now we are reaping the results of the factorisation of 1999”, Ramadani said.

On the other hand, Kosovo agreements -- Albania and discussions on the Durres seaport -- have caused nervousness in Serbia, and are also seen as attempting to unite Albanians.

Governments and prime ministers of the two states have expressed optimism and very positive regarding the agreements reached, stating that together many other agreements will be signed that will surround the two states.
