Subheader The PDK, Enver Hoxhaj, is describing today's visit by European Commissioner for Neighborship and Enlargement Oliver Varhely as routine.
He for Kosovo Press says the latter did not give any promises that are remembered for the country and that it was a visit without substance. He also criticizes him for speaking before the chosen ones of the people.
I think it was a visit without a substance, without any promise being kept in mind. With no measurable purpose, especially when we bear in mind that the Commissioner for Enlargement gave a speech in the Kosovo Assembly, where everyone who gave a speech gave a speech, a job that he accomplished, or concrete promises that are on the way to fulfill. So it was a routine visit without even mentioning visa liberalisation. If that were the subject of the 18th century, we are in the 21”, he says.
Hoxhaj, who met with the European commissionary along with Chairman Veseli, says that if the EU does not move by the end of the year for visa liberalisation, its credibility in relation to Kosovo will be in question.
“Ignoring this subject, the alleged claim that to see what will happen, will cost it to EU credibility. But it will cost both Kosovo and the report Kosovo citizens will have with the state and the EU, it is a matter of confidence. If the criteria have been met, and this lies in the text, the EU must be serious responsible that it is a contractual report when we were offered the visa liberalisation guide in 2012 and when we worked from 2012 to 2018 to meet all criteria. Now it's just ignored and nothing to say, I think it's a serious and lasting topic. If the EU does not move by the end of the year of its credibility in relation to Kosovo will be in question”, Hoxhaj said.
Critically against the European commissioner, Parliamentary Commission for Foreign Affairs Chairman Time Kadrijaj said the EU has taken revenge on Kosovo.
