Out of the total amount earmarked for Kosovo municipalities, the Mitrovica municipality has been allocated 1.5m euros. The chairman of Mitrovica, Agim Bahtiri, of all this has decided that only 50 thousand euros to use for masks and disinfectant, for primary, high school and nursery students. Of the excess 1 million and 450 thousand euros, no one has been earmarked for municipal support against damaged businesses, and all these vehicles have been shared for the needs of the municipality.
In fact, Bahtiri, within this amount, even introduced the nesting project that he had promised to build without sharing these tools, even for student scholarships, that should be paid in a long time ago.
Most of the remaining money is earmarked for grants and subsidies, as well as wages in the health sector, and not for the needs created by the pandemic, as required by the Ministry of Finance.
To realize these aloches, Bahtiri has called an extraordinary session for tomorrow, with 19 points of the agenda.
In the statement that the municipalities were sent to by Finance Minister Hykmete Bajrami, it is said that based on obligations issued by Article 5 of the revised budget law No.07/L-14, municipalities are initially required to identify the emergency needs for management of the health and economic crisis caused by the pandemic, and then separate means can be used to cover the Communist's legal obligations. /Mitropol/
