In 2015, the ruling People's Party changed the laws of abortion in Spain and mandated parental approval for girls between the ages of 16 and 18, writes BBC, translates Periscope.
Abortion is legal in Spain for the first 14 weeks of the woman's pregnancy.
Wednesday, Mrs. Montero said the reform was “more than necessary”.
She added that other measures would be announced, including the biggest focus on sexual education, which she described as “vaxine” in the fight against gender violence.
