Damka extinguishing now sets conditions: To dismiss the stand, Gashi or not to vote on any law

MP Fikrim Damka is involved in the discussion of Kosovo's ambassador to France, the Centre Gashi.

Through his speech, he has demanded that Ambassador Gashi be dismissed urgently.

If that is not the case, Damka has said he and the six plus parliamentary group will not vote on any of the laws that will go to the polls in the upcoming sessions.

As long as he does not withdraw from the ambassadorial position, as 6 Parliament deputies we would like to inform you that we will not vote on any law in future sessions, outside COVID-19 laws and economic recovery bills”, Damka has said.

A very important issue I need to talk about today is disturbing and closely related to all of us. Recently, we have encountered several statements by senior state officials in Europe who have clearly offended and slandered Islam by aiming at eliminating values of tolerance and interreligious respect. In the future, these rhetoric can cause unwanted consequences and can put us on an irreversible street”, he added.

For the past few days in Kosovo, there have been some reactions of persons who have sought Gashi's dismissal.
