This year for the first time, the IVFUUK application begins

This news of Online Economy has been revealed by Gynecology Clinic Director Jakup Ismajli, who has stressed that they already have the project finalised and expect soon to be equipped with the cytogenetic laboratory.

It has assessed this project as very much achieved and will apply for the first time to public institutions in the region.

“We have prepared the project for IVF and cytogenetic laboratory, probably for the first time in the region that is done in public institutions. We have the project ready to be supported by the central directorate as well as the ministry, so I hope that in 2020 we will begin with the IVF and the cytogenetic laboratory. I think this is an achievement that for the first time will be done in public institutions”, he said.

In addition to this project already finalised, the head of gynecology mentioned several other investments made during 2019.

These include applying the removal of the cervix.

“has become the renovation of the clinic from abroad, we have been supplied this year with Isteroscope, the laboscope may stress that the first heteroscope was made at the obstetric-gynecological clinic with the removal of the uterus with the lparascope”, he said.

Even with regard to the supply of charitable materials and drugs, Ishmael said that they stayed well during 2019.

“With saved material we're satisfied, it doesn't mean that we have a percentage of the essential list, but very little maybe a very short time after the new year, last year when the budget is made we have a slight lack of a short time, but we can say that most of the year we've been supplied and patients from the essential list haven't bought any bar”, he said.

Gynecologist Ismajli has announced that the cesarean birth trend has marked growth.

He has said that about 34 percent of births in this clinic are done through Caesaric cuts.

We've got a lot of trials in the judiciary so these are all causers of increased cesarean cuts”, he said.

But Ishmael has said that this way of birth is presented with great threats to the mother, not even excluding the risk of life.

Every cesarean birth is a risk to mother's life, especially those repeated two-to-three-time ties where I can reach the placenta previja marginalis. So every repeated cesarean birth is a complication for the mother and the child”, he said.

In 2019, 9242 babies were born at the Obstetric-Gynecology Clinic of the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo.

Compared to the year 2018, about 700 fewer babies were born this year.
