Thaci calls Milanovic, wishes him president

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has today held a telephone conversation with the newly elected president of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic.

On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, Thaci has expressed our commitment to deepening the strategic partnership between two states and our peoples to Croatia's newly elected president.

“I just held a telephone conversation with the newly elected president of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic, whom I congratulated for his election to the head of Croatia's friendly state.

On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, I expressed our commitment to deepening the strategic partnership between the two states and our peoples.

I also commended the president-elect of the Republic of Croatia for taking over the chairmanship of the Council of the European Union, where Kosovo expects a new dynamic on the inseparable journey towards Euro-Atlantic integration”, Thaci wrote.
