Students return to school banks, the second half anniversary begins today

Today, all primary and secondary schools in Kosovo are expected to begin the second half anniversary of the 2019/20 school year.

Education Ministry officials have confirmed that all necessary preparations have been made for the start of the education process.

Pre-university Department of Education at the Ministry of Education, Alush Istog, said over the phone to Kosovo Press, that August, in co-operation with all the municipal education directors, has made all necessary preparations to begin the second half-year, as is seen with the administrative instruction and school year calendar.

Istog said that in all Kosovo schools the learning process will begin, except in the municipality of Kamenica, which he said had no information about whether it will begin today, all because of the education reforms the chairman of this municipality remains Kastrati.

“The Ministry of Education on the basis of plans and programme, the second half-year of this school year, according to administrative instruction and the school calendar, the learning process begins on 13 January, and in contact with all directors of municipal education directors and, of course, those in co-ordination with school institutions have all been prepared for the start of the second half anniversary. A particular problem may be in the Kamenica municipality, but now I don't know because we don't have any information about how the process will go about education reform that the mayor of the Kamenica municipality has received, Istog said.

He wished all students and educators to be more successful in this half-year, in terms of the realisation of the teaching process and wished greater co-ordination in the middle of schools.
