According to a report in the news magazine “Der Spiegel”, the details of 11.1 million persons were presented in the central registry of foreigners in late September.
By the end of 1990, there were 5.3 million foreigners living in Germany, and by the end of 2008, the figure reached 6.7 million.
At the end of 2018 in Germany, 10.9 million foreigners were registered, 43.9% of whom were from other EU countries, and 13.5% were with Turkish citizenship. / A OVR
