For these attacks, Iran's Revolutionary Guard has claimed responsibility, suggesting that the attacks were revenge for the murder of Iranian elite unit Quads commander Qassem Solejmani.

Two rockets have been found in the Green Zone in Baghdad, Iraq calling sirens to go off at the US Embassy.
