Pope Francisescu has condemned on Monday “the barbarian undiventionary” of anti-Semitism worldwide, linking it to increasing population.
The 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz camp next week should serve as a reminder not to remain indifferent, Francis said before the human rights research group Simon Wiessenthal Center.
“is disturbing how selfishness and the lack of concern for others” in many parts of the world have developed, Francis said.
He did not specifically mention any country or population movement.
Last month in eastern France, several Jewish graves were damaged, hours before lawmakers adopted a resolution to consider the same anti-Semitism and anti-Semitism.
