Oman's government declared three days of national mourning, broadcasts Rtv21.tv. Qaboo's cousin, Haytham bin Tariq al-Said, has been named as the new ruler, according to the state agency “Oman News”.
Qaboos had no child or direct heir at the time of his death. /21Media
