At this meeting where Heem Arifi and Duda Balje attended, he said that by now the three communities have not had representation.
Our request has been from the beginning to have a representation where communities are able to be more active in decision-making. The Egyptian community has originally demanded that there be a greater political power, especially in government. Our demands were normally on the table, long discussed the possibility of cooperation, but we still have to go back and talk with our leaders, and the following days we will have a decision about whether we will support it or not. It is a legitimate requirement to change since voters have also voted for changes. Even we, like communities in particular Egyptian, Roma and Ashkali, know that we have been unrepresented with the minister and it has been a very legitimate requirement that these communities lead opportunities and change our opinion that we are capable of leading Minister”, Berisha said.
Berisha said this has remained to be considered by the mandate for forming the government, Albin Kurti.
The “communities in this case are the third partner. It has been the impression that communities support any government in the future. It does not stand that way, we have our requests for every government being made, we are not followers of a minority government, we are followers of a government that is stable and leads the country forward and where the opportunity to make changes”, he said.
Berisha said he would not prevent the formation of the government, however, he wants to lead a ministry as communities.
According to him, the situation of the three communities differs if the minister leads. For that, he said he has will from LVV head Albin Kurti.
