France's President Emmanuel Macron expressed his solidarity with the Allies today during a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump and said Iran should avoid “debilising” after Iranian Commander Qassem Solejmani was killed in an American air strike in Baghdad.
In the works of the recent escalation of tensions in Iraq and the region, President Macron has expressed his full solidarity with French allies in light of the attacks committed last weeks against the coalition in Iraq, Macron's Office said in a statement.
Macron also expressed concern over the destabilising activities of the Kurdish forces under General Qaseem Solejmani and asked Iran to avoid taking any measures that could escalate the situation and destabilise the region.
