The incumbent Deputy Prime Minister, Fatmir Limaj, has today met France's ambassador to Kosovo, Marie-Christine Bustel, with whom he has talked about political currentity in the country, post-election developments, dialogue with Serbia and visa liberalisation.
Limaj expects France to be pro and play an active role for Kosovo as soon as it gets visa liberalisation.
“As far as dialogue with Serbia is concerned, Kosovo in this dialogue enters with clear objectives: reaching a binding agreement for mutual recognition between the two countries. With the ambassador, we also talked about forming new institutions and I believe that very soon Kosovo will have new institutions out of the 6 October” elections, Limaj wrote on Facebook.
The head of the Initiative has thanked the French diplomat for the continued support Paris has given for Kosovo, and at the same time has expressed readiness to deepen relations between the two friendly countries.
