Scientists have now discovered that every infected person is passing the virus between 1.4 and 2.5 people, writes BBC, records Periscopi.
Because of man - to - man spread, media record that only decisions made in China, including city closure, can prevent the spread.
There are also concerns that people without symptoms can spread the virus.
Prof Kook-Yung Yuen from Hong Kong University-Senzhen Hospital said that “asimtomatic infection seems possible”.
