The House of Representatives in the United States, controlled by Democrats, is expected to vote on restricting President Donald Trump's competencies in the military action company against Iran.
That happens after many lawmakers said they are not satisfied with the explanation the White House has provided for the murder of Iran's military commander, Qasem Solejmani.
House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the vote on the resolution for the competencies of the war would take place Thursday.
Congress members have serious and urgent concerns about the administration's decision to engage in enmity with Iran and the lack of strategy to proceed before”, Pelosi said.
The resolution requires Trump to ban the use of the American Army in or against Iran until Congress declares war or approves the authorisation of its anti-Either force.
The resolution is expected to be adopted in the House of Representatives, but Republicans say the document, which does not need the president's signature, does not have the power of law.
Republicans control the Senate, and such resolution will have little chance of passing.
Federal courts have never finally decided on this case.

Iran has responded to the murder with attacks on American bases in Iraq this week.
