Deliu-Codra: VV and LDK lied to voters, dare take responsibility

The two winning parties, the Vetevendosje Movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo, have not yet reached an agreement for co-governance.

Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy (PDK), Blerta Deliu-Kodra, said in an interview for EO that Kosovo citizens have remained hostage to the responsibility of these two political parties.

“Absolutely which is a status quo means for three months in a row despite the fact that it has been said several times in statements that will soon have agreement, I am very sorry that citizens have remained hostage to non-responsibilities”, she stressed.

According to Deliu-Codra, political leaders over the past three months have lied to citizens, saying they will form the country's institutions as soon as possible.

She says that everything that has been seen these months has been a show, video conference, and insult to each other.

“It seems that political leaders do not have the courage to take the responsibility they meet, have lied to voters, have lied to the citizens of the country when they told them that they would form institutions as soon as possible, you see that in the three months that we've seen, unfortunately, there has been a show for months we've seen conferences, videos, conferences, then abuses of labels against each other, but asses, no responsibility in the report with the citizen who has given the vote and believed there will be a government as often as<1x>, Delu-Codra said.

Furthermore, it argued that even if these two parties fail to form the new Government, the PDK will not agree to make a coalition with either party.

According to her, The PDK will travel its way as an opposition party.

“We are looking at political developments in the country, but we have said our position that the PDK will remain in opposition, will play its third role as a party despite the support it has received during the last elections, and of course will be very vocal in the face of all political developments in the country. I believe we will exercise our mandate with many responsibilities because we will be responsible for the obligations we have received from Kosovo citizens”.
