For some it's very simple but for others it's a headache.
The drill is this: 8 ʹ 2 (2 + 2).
But what is the correct answer to this exercise that has become viral on the grid?
Professor Steven Strogatz explained the steps for her solution.
According to mathematical rules, he first acts within the parentheses. So (2 + 2 = 4).
Then we've got this eight-four exercise. In this case, operations take place in a row, 8 over 2=4 and then 4=16.
According to the professor's mistake, the majority were doing the pluralization in the beginning, where it turned out that 2%4=8 and then they were participating, 850=1.
