European diplomacy chief Josep Borrell and German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas have discussed the situation in the Western Balkans and Kosovo- Serbia during a meeting in Berlin.
“We will do our best to facilitate Serbia-Kosovo dialogue,” said Borrell.
The EU High Representative also briefed the German top diplomat on his plans to visit Pristina and Belgrade this week.
When it comes to the Western Balkans, we have a common vision of how to achieve stability and security in this important region that is in our immediate environment,” stressed Borrell, Tanjug reported, broadcasts Kosovo.
Josep Borrell warned in Berlin of increasing challenges worldwide.
“We need to be more united and have a common meaning for the world, in order to develop a common security and foreign policy”, Borrell stressed.
He called on Germany to take the lead in building such a Europe.
Nothing can be done without Germany, and I know that my job will be successful only if I have your support”, the European top diplomat said after meeting with Heiko Maas.
