Analyst for Periscope: Kurt won't make minority government, this endangers the country

The Vetevendosje movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo have still failed to establish an official coalition even after several meetings between them.

After three of the early elections, Kosovo has remained without functional institutions, as these two parties have failed to finalise the agreement it sends to the creation of the new government.

And if these two parties don't agree, the VV has another option to take the executive in its own hands, even with a big risk.

Political analyst Ali Hertica has told Periscope that even though there is the possibility of creating minority government, Kurti will not accept it because of the risk of life expectancy he may have if created.

This won't have Kosovo because it won't get Albin Kurti into these dangerous games for a short time of survival for just 3 months, because VV won't work as a classic government”.

He adds, that Kurti will not enter “this game without top” and that he will use all options for coalition with LDK.

The “Kurti will prove all opportunities to create the coalition. This minority government has the positive and negative sides, because it does not provide the slightest stability in state governance, while the other side shows there are limits to establishing an partiality, whether it is made through broader compromises where Albin Kurti will by no means enter this game without a lead, because this kind of earthquake is known for state policy”

Although it says that cases of minority governments have also had in the states of the region, it adds that the position of one in Kosovo would cause problems on the political scene.

A functioning of this minority government will soon bring a problem where no-confidence motion can be called. The possibility of forming the minority government exists, but it is short-lived and not productive for the sovereign and the state. But these cases of forming the minority government we have had in Bulgaria and Serbia, where there currently are Denmark and Spain”.

While, the VV leader, yesterday after consulting with the country's president for terminating the government, has said before the media that establishing a minority government, means disagreements with the LDK, which they would not like.
