The Regional Police Directorate in Mitrovica has presented the labour report for 2019, with what cases based on the analytical assessments made in periodic reports, the year 2019 marks a general decline in incidents and other criminal cases.
On this occasion, the mayor of the municipality, Agim Bahtiri, chairman of the municipality of Vushtrri, Xhafer Tahiri, Regional Police Director, Lieutenant Colonel Aferdita Micillovci, South Police Station Commander Ahmet Josha, as well as other senior police officials.
Initially, the Regional Director of Police in Mitrovica, Lieutenant Colonel, Aferdita Mikulovci, who thanks Chairman Bahtiri for all the real co-operation they have had all this time, where I point out later that based on the results achieved that are encouraging, I can freely say that the South Station police have done all the pre-eminent tasks with the work plan.
She added that declining the number of cases in general results in efficiency and co-operation between entities and different sectors. This result reflects continued police commitments and measures undertaken in preventing criminal acts.
While the mayor, Agim Bahtiri, praised all police officers for their excellent efficiency and work in law enforcement, creating a safe environment for citizens, maintaining order and public calm.
Also, Chairman Bahtiri argued that we have very good and continued co-operation with the police, in preventing tensions or various incidents, and as a result of this co-operation, citizens, local governments, police, these extremely good results have been noted, so is the fact that this year was left behind without any murder in Mitrovica.
It is noteworthy that the Regional Directorate in Mitrovica has thanked all citizens of Mitrovica for mutual co-operation and awareness, which has reflected that we do not have any murders during 2019. Such co-operation will remain a joint journey with citizens in the future as well.
