That day, January 22, 1998, in the early hours of the morning, from the Hunting Moon factory, some 500m from the homes of the Jashar neighbourhood, had moved Serbian police forces, which had been directed toward the Yashars Tower, to attack it with weapons of various kinds.
Since Adem Jashar was not in the house that night, resistance to the attack by the Serbian police had been made to Shaban and Hamza, with their grandchildren, where several members of the Jashar family had been wounded, and enemy forces had been forced to withdraw.
