Any money I have from my paintings, my mother has provided me with only therapy. Monthly therapy totals up to 1,000 euros. But I don't know much more because my mother doesn't tell me”
Thank you all. I've managed through paintings to provide therapy”, says Yllka, who suffers from Fibroza Cestic, a disease that damages internal organs, Rel.
It applies art with dots, a new method used in the world today.
I like to do big paintings, but I like small ones because they get better, more filled”, she tells me, and it's like, it's like, like, telegram.
Yllka says she has decided to attend an art course with points.
It's been a year since Yllka started selling her paintings.
Her mother says that Yllke's paintings are not recently sold as originally.
If there are interested in buying paintings, Yllka can provide therapy... The monthly cost of therapy is too high. It costs between 1, 600 and 2,100 euros. It depends on how we find it, as there are no such therapies in Kosovo. It can only be secured in Germany, Italy, Switzerland or in America”, says the daughter's mother.
Yllka attends lessons in the ninth grade in primary school -- the Dardania” in Pristina and is an excellent student.
There is no precise data in Kosovo, but it is estimated there are about 100 children suffering from Stistic Fibroza.
After many requests from family members, on September 20, the Ministry of Health has decided that drugs for Cestic Fibroza will be listed as essential drugs.
