Three tourists from Norway eat and drink at a bar in Albania, then call police for being raped and kidnapped

Sulejman Alia says there's a bar in the mountain area of Rob, where he works with his wife and two sons. But on August 3rd they have faced an unusual situation. Three Norwegian girls ordered dinner and drinks at the bar and then reported to the police that they were raped and kidnapped.

The police raided the bar and accompanied the staff. After the selection of film footage proved the prosecution false, and Norwegian girls apologised and were released.

We were on a normal business day, at 9:45 a.m., 3 customers came in. They ordered, we served. We found out they were Norwegian citizens, drinking wine, over 2-3 glasses. One of them stayed over an hour and left. But the other woman stayed with her friend, and asked for a drink, and came to the counter. One of Sulejman Ali's sons sat at our table”

“Environment is video camera. From the time they came, we didn't even recognize them, we just greeted them. What would you like to drink? We gave them the menu, and everything went on like this. The other girl left, the other came to the bar to drink alcohol. I said, your “friend left, now give me the money you've been drinking and you can go.” No, he told me, I'm waiting for my friend to come back to”, the other says.

Ten minutes after the girl left, the police arrive and enter into terror and tell us you're accused of kidnapping and rape. The biggest irony is that the police came to catch us in the jungle, but we were having a conversation. Look what they do to me, they put me down, look at the other guy who shot me in the face...”

One of those arrested was a guy who had a business next door.

I had nothing to do with the story, I had five minutes to come and see the police, lying all over the ground, and a girl who accuses me of being responsible for all this stuff here. I have nothing to do with the bar, because I'm the business next door and that night I just came to say hi to my friends. I had never been accused of rape by a girl I never knew. It's totally absurd while I was there for five minutes. I just got in the wrong place, the wrong time, maybe the wrong people. Although I had nothing to do with the situation, and all the witnesses said they had nothing to do with it, the police accompanied us without listening to us. ”

The three boys were taken to the Cavaja station, but they were not given a single record of camera selection or evidence.

The unjustly accused boys now denouncing that the police of Golem and Cavaja did nothing by letting the girls go free, not even copies of the statements. While OPG Ilir Dizdari says accused boys should no longer deal with this story, as girls withdrew.

The girls were released and went to sleep at the hotel. When they found out there were cameras in the bar, they apologized. All their actions were recorded and apologised”, says one of the boys.

Nothing is done of these, girls are left free and returned to their own country, but we are not given the chip we ask of the police. We're asking the police to take action for the girls, but he didn't take them because they were foreign citizens, and that's what we're going to be, some of our stepmothers, and we Albanians have always been down. ”
