Minister Ismaili said all this is becoming possible thanks to the fight against corruption and the reorientation of funds.
“Today we are opening new equipment that will increase the quality and security of medical services in Kosovo. This modernisation of medical services will benefit patients and health professionals”, he said.
While USKKUK Executive Director Basri Sejdiu said these are not only equipment, but a functioning of many services in Kosovo health.
This device has already been mounted, one in abdominal surgery and one in neurology. This device helps us escape classical interventions in surgery with large cuts. The SHSKUK has had only one huge labascope that has been ugly used”, he said.
S.K.K.K.K.I.R.R.'s Laparascopes are two for Abdominal Surgery, one for gynecology, one for Urology and one for the Gjakova General Hospital.
Laparascope is a device for minimal cut surgery. The advantages of these interventions are great. A lot of bleeding (blooding), cutting hospital time from one week or more to 24 hours. Laparascop intervention reduces pain, shortens reabal time, etc.
