Albania's Swiss Superstar has made only two presentations of the bench for red so far this season. Even his season debuted with Europe's champion went likewise, as most of the time it did not play, the newspaper Express broadcasts.
The 27-year-old played the last five minutes in Liverpool's victory against Newcastle United on Saturday and was left in the reserve bank even against Naples for the first match by Klopp's team in the Champions League tonight in São Paulo.
But, Shaqiri insists he is committed to the cause in Anfield, despite little chance of playing.
“It's not easy for me, of course I'm upset”, Shaqiri told Teleclub.
But you have to be able to handle this and you have to accept it as well. You can't ask the coach to bring him into any fight”, he added.
Shaqiri claims he is happy in Liverpool and wants to end this season as Premierliga's winner.
I feel very comfortable here. We have a big coach and a big club. It's a family unit. I hope we can win Premierliga after 30 years”, the Albanian stressed.
