Serbian List fines due to electoral spot where Kosovo presents it as part of Serbia

With 30,000 euros fined the Serbian List, for publishing an election spot in which Kosovo is considered part of Serbia. The electoral panel for Ances and Parashtre (PZAP) has estimated that through this spot, the Serbian political subject has promoted interethnic hatred in Kosovo, KTV reports. In the argument of the PZAP decision, it is said that the Serbian List has also violated the Electoral Law.

Although verbal attacks have been stepped up among Albanian political parties, no complaints have been filed in PZAP for the harsh language.

However, on this panel, only during the first three days of campaigning have 30 complaints, primarily related to the use of children in campaigning and the deployment of posters in public spaces.

Of them, 13 complaints have been considered, while another 17 are in the screening procedure.

Political analysts estimate the frequency of verbal attacks among political parties as a harsh language.

Ngjerarizi points out that this language can negatively affect voters.

In the 2017 parliamentary elections, PZAP has pronounced fines against political parties, worth about 350 thousand euros.
