Rrustem Mustafa: PDK winner, with this party we make coalition

He was one of the most prominent commanders of the Kosovo Liberation Army. Now, for the third time, it is intended to become Kosovo's MP from the PDK ranks. Rrustem Mustafa “Remi” in an interview for KosovoPress says citizens' expectations in these elections are very big. He is convinced that he alone PDK [...]
This time again, Rrustem Mustafa has an interesting forecast for the possible coalition after the elections.
Kosovapress: You've been out of politics and terrain for a while. These days you've met a lot of citizens on the spa. How did they expect them?
Rrustem Mustafa: I've been in touch with friends and citizens in Llap all the time. But in the campaign, meetings are more intense. I'm so glad that everywhere I go I see a great mobilization and enthusiasm among citizens. Their expectations are huge.
We must work constantly so as not to disappoint, but to restore their hope. I've met war veterans, families of heroes, martyrs, martyrs. I've met farmers, professors and young people. Everyone loves Kosovo, a Kosovo where the law rules, with developed economies and the welfare of citizens.
Kosovapress: Who can fulfill their expectations because in the past we have made promises but have not been fulfilled?
Rrustem Mustafa: The citizens' patience is not what it was a few years ago, and that is very positive. The PDK government, with Kadri Veselin prime minister, has a programme that will accommodate citizens' demands. Fighting corruption along with the US is just one of these. The liberalisation and equipping of citizens with the letters is another promise that will happen.
The rise for 80% of pensions and the free distribution of medicines for chronically ill pensioners will happen. Communists will no longer pay a cent for the Green Carton when they enter the border of Kosovo. These and many other promises will be fulfilled. We'll have to get 10 more deputies than the second party.
Kosovapress: The PDK in this campaign has taken a lot with the fight against corruption and the US, accusing others as anti-Americans? Do you think that's how you win votes?
Rrustem Mustafa: This campaign is not for votes. Corruption and hurt relations with the US are the biggest risks facing Kosovo. The fight against corruption must be incompatible and in interaction with America. Until we as a party, tomorrow as Government, as a people we have to preserve and develop relationships with America. The United States of America is the only address of our political orientation.
It is a guarantor of our existence as a state, it is maintaining Kosovo's territorial integrity, it is everything for Kosovo. Anyone who knowingly or unknowingly hurts these relationships will not have the support of this people.
Kosovapress: Your PDK colleagues have been harsh with the LDK until you were more silent. Why?
Rrustem Mustafa: I have good relations with everyone. All we see are political concepts. But these days many LDK members and other parties have joined PDK in Llap. They have realised that it is the only PDK that can make major and necessary changes for the challenges ahead.
Darken Only The PDK is the party that has the following consistency in maintaining relations with the US. We at no time, for any price have hurt these relations, which for the citizens of Kosovo are sacred. I am more focused on presenting our offer than we can do more and better to change citizens' lives. So I, I lost no minute of my energy to attack political opponents.
Kosovapress: In 2014, you were the only one who anticipated a coalition. PDK-LDK. What is the prediction of this choice?
Rrustem Mustafa: Kosovo has remained hostage to some major jobs, which past governments have failed to complete. We don't have time to waste. Kosovo needs a coalition and stable government, led by the PDK with Prime Minister Kadri Veselin, to win the battle against corruption and opens the perspective of Kosovo's economic development. I believe that even after these elections there will be a coalition P DK- The LDK, with Kadri Veselin prime minister. This coalition will be a guarantor of the major changes you will lead PDK.
