Police in Ferizaj with operational plan for child safety in schools

In this regard, the Ferizaj Regional Police Directorate has begun implementing the operational plan, “Safe September”, which means taking preventive measures for maximum child security during their school trip and vice versa.
In such a situation, Kosovo Police will come up with concrete plans, such as patrols near schools, intensifying visits to educational educational facilities, regular contacts with the management staff of relevant municipal directors, as well as organising student lectures
schools of all levels on security and negative phenomena that damage health, road communications laws, etc.
During the implementation of this operational plan, the police will act where schools are near the most frequent roads, where the movement of students is greater and will take legal measures on the basis of the zero concept of zero tolerance to drivers and all other counter-advisors who do not respect signs and rules of road communication.
DPS in Ferizaj will increase the number of patrols, especially on the most frequent roads in the vicinity and schools, as well as on the street crossings, while there will be increased presences of policemen in the vicinity and around school facilities.
In the second phase of implementation of the operating plan, “Safe September”, police in co-ordination with the municipal education directorates, with selected students adjusting road communication to all the cities of the Ferizaj region.
