The 22-year-old Satenik Karasian began investigating symptoms two months ago. Initially she thought there was dust in her eyes, while her family suspected that the word was a piece of glass.
Meanwhile, Karasian now says she inexplicably produces up to 50 crystal fragments from her eyes every day. It is reported that some doctors were unable to diagnose or treat this particular condition, leaving it to an almost constant agony.
My update has now turned to hell”, she told Armenian media.
According to her, some doctors refused to believe, while others had simply described eye points and antibiotics that failed to alleviate the problem.
The Ministry of Health in Armenia has been contacted and reports that the chief of the ophthalmic department has met with the girl twice and crystals have been sent for analysis in an effort to diagnose this phenomenon.
