The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has announced its position on the pact with ten points for fighting corruption, presented today by the chairman of the country. Kadri Wessel's PDK, through which he claims it can return citizens' trust in politicians in fighting this negative phenomenon.
After meeting with CDU deputy Peter Beyer, LDK chairman Isa Mustafa has voiced opposition to signing the anti-corruption pact, as the party he heads “does not want to be forged and make a false document”.
We don't sign either pact or document. We fight corruption itself and have the basic position of LDK. We don't want to fake corruption and make fake documents”, Mustafa said.
Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Kadri Veselin at a media conference has stated that through the anti-corruption pact, citizens' trust in politicians in fighting corruption could be restored.
Wessel has even called on all political parties to sign the anti-corruption pact.
